Ciprofloxacin is used to treat or prevent certain infections caused by bacteria. It is prescribed for the treatment of pneumonia, gonorrhoea (a sexually transmitted disease), typhoid fever (a serious infection that is a cause of excessive fatigue, bones and joints', fever, and menstruation), infectious diarrhea (including diarrhea that is bloody, with no odor), and pyodermas (differentiating between inflammation and injury) in adults and children. It is also used to treat severe pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), severe bacterial vaginosis, and severe lower urinary tract infections. Consult your doctor for more details.
Ciprofloxacin is also used to treat gonorrhoea (a sexually transmitted disease). It is a cephalosporin, which means it stops the growth of bacteria. Gonorrhoea is used to treat infections caused by an infected organism (pyoderma). Gonorrhoea is a skin condition that may get worse with the use of cephalosporins. Other beta-lactam infections can also be treated with cephalosporins. Ciprofloxacin may decrease the resistance of other beta-lactam antibiotics. It also decreases the susceptibility of other beta-lactam antibiotics. It is used to treat infections caused by aureomycin (a bacterial diuretic). It is used to treat infections caused by kidney stones, osteomyelitis (abnormal bone/muscle damage caused by a kidney infection), and infections of the vagina and gastrointestinal tract (stomach, duodenum, and jejunum). It is used to treat infections of the biliary system (colon, malignancy, and biliary obstruction). It is also used to treat infections of the urinary system (urinary tract, bladder, and kidneys).
Take ciprofloxacin exactly as it was prescribed for your infection.
Follow the directions provided by your doctor. Ciprofloxacin should be taken with food.
Ciprofloxacin may increase the risk of developing certain side effects. Stomach infection may become more likely as the body adjusts to the medication. Common side effects of ciprofloxacin include:
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking ciprofloxacin if you are taking any type of medicine. Some medicines may cause a drop in blood pressure. This may be especially unusual for medicines called nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) or nitroprusside (Nitro-N-Acetyl-Lactic 100mg tablets). Blood pressure should be checked before taking ciprofloxacin. Discuss with your doctor if you take nitrates.
Taking ciprofloxacin with alcohol may increase the risk of side effects. To make sure this is the right medication for you, tell your doctor if you drink a large amount of alcohol. Ciprofloxacin may cause dizziness and lightheadedness while you are using this medication. If dizziness or lightheadedness occurs while you are using this medication, call your doctor.

I have a UTI. It was caused by a bladder infection. The urologist sent me a letter in February, and I've been given a diagnosis of an infection. It's been a while since I felt like I was going to get a UTI. I was taking it regularly and getting frequent UTIs. It was a constant UTI. I had a UTI three or four days before I could get a UTI.
My doctor prescribed this antibiotic as an alternative to the other antibiotics. I was taking the antibiotic twice a day. I got the UTI that week, but it's still not getting better. So, I took two doses of Cipro every day for a week or so. My doctor prescribed me 500 milligrams of Cipro every day.
I had a UTI in my lungs a week ago. The doctor told me to use 500-mg Cipro. I didn't know what to expect, so I took it every day. That's when I got a UTI. I went to my doctor and told him that there was a new infection in my lungs. The doctor said that it was an infection in my lungs, not my bladder. I went back to the doctor and told him to call the urologist. I had a UTI two or three weeks ago and my urologist sent me a letter saying that it was an infection in my bladder. I had to go to my doctor. I had to take a dose of 500-milligram Cipro. I had two doses of Cipro every day.
I had to take Cipro again. The urologist said that the antibiotics are giving me a UTI. My doctor told me to stop taking Cipro. I was fine. I was taking Cipro regularly, but I wasn't getting any better. I was still getting infections in my bladder. I couldn't see a difference in my symptoms.
The urologist was also very concerned that I might have an infection. I called the urologist and the doctors and they said that it's probably a bacterial infection.
The urologist sent me a letter saying that I needed a prescription for Cipro. I told the urologist I would get it.
The doctor sent me the prescription, but I didn't want to take it. I just took the prescription. I was so upset that I started feeling nauseous. I got so sick. I felt nauseous again, but I didn't want to take Cipro. I told the urologist to call the doctor. They sent me back to the hospital. The urologist was very concerned that I might have an infection.
I was discharged in the hospital. I was still having symptoms, but I wasn't feeling well. My doctor sent me to another urologist. She said that it was a UTI.
My UTI was a week ago. I was taking a 500-milligram Cipro every day. I took two doses of Cipro every day.
